This is our unique fiber system that is incredibly soft while also being highly fire-retardant. Kiwami is made by our parent company using the latest in Japanese technology. Once tufted, these rugs are put through a very special shearing process that gives them this amazing soft touch. A version of this fiber is used to make the hair in Barbie dolls. As such, you can be sure the flammability ratings are superb and the softness is unrivaled.
